Take a chance, raise the flop?
Reads: SB is seriously braindead. I described him as "weirdly aggressive" in a previous post, but I don't think that quite captures it. He donks without prejudice, and loses tons of money. Just rebought.
No read on UTG. So.... given that dynamic, is this worth a flop raise... or does UTG have AA too often? PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG calls, 1 fold, CO calls, 1 fold, SB raises, Hero calls, UTG 3-bets, CO folds, SB calls, Hero calls. Re: Take a chance, raise the flop?
no read on UTG really sucks for trying to decide here.
limp-reraise could also be KK for all we know too and he might fold it for 2 bets. Is it worth 2 bets just to try to push him out and/or find out where you are in the hand in relation to him? I really don't know but I think it's an interesting decision so I thought I would at least reply and bumpity it back up. |

Re: Take a chance, raise the flop?
Tell Bob the bump worked.
I actually like a flop raise here. AA is most likely the only Ace hand a "normal" UTG would limp-reraise with. That's not too likely with an ace hitting the flop. You should be beating the chipspewing monkey of a small blind almost 80% of the time, so I would consider risking 2 small bets to isolate him and play it out from there. |

Re: Take a chance, raise the flop?
FWIW - somethingclever did not ask me to bump his thread (if that was your implication)
