ok sounds good, but what is the reasoning?
won't i fold a worse hand by doing this and just get reraised by a better hand?
If you get reraised are you definetly folding?

yeah, no reason to raise turn. either call down or fold. there are few outs to any hands behind you except for the flush draw (which you won't be able to knock out anyway). if you decide to play the hand, you want to call the turn to induce a river bluff by opponents w/a smaller pair or missed flush

The reasons i rasie the turn here are
1. I fold to a three bet
2. If i call down and am behind i am usally paying 2 bets anway- raising here will get a pair of Kings to fold x% of the time.
3. He may be on a flush draw/straight draw and this way he gets charged the most.

Raising the turn would be horrible. Hero is clearly either way ahead or way behind. The hands he is ahead of will almost certainly fold to a turn raise and the hands hes behind will almost certainly 3bet.

I think the best line would have been to raise the flop. If villian just calls you are probably ahead and if he 3bets I think you can let it go on the turn.

Given hero's flop call, I would usually just call down, but I'm sure many 1/2 players are passive enough that you can safely fold when he still bets the turn.

I think a flop raise is in order for three reasons.

First - you are probably ahead at this point. Putting money in the pot when you are ahead is a good thing.

Second, SB could be betting just about anything in this spot - any pair, any paint that hit or missed, or complete cheese. Raising the villian on the flop will give you a little more information on his hand. He could still 3-bet you with a lower pocket pair (or worse) or wait until the turn to check/raise you with AA/AK/KK/44/22/clubs, but it helps.

Third, it can potentially get you to showdown for likely 2BB assuming you check behind on the turn and call a river bet.

hmmm you seem to be contradicting yourself here,if you raise the flop and are just called then you say you should take a free card on the turn?
but 1st you said to raise the flop as you probably have the best hand,so why would you then check the turn?

Hero is either way ahead or way behind on this 4th street card. There are no overcards that matter. It sucks to give freecards given the flush draw, but heads up Im not too concerned about that. I definitely like the check on 4th street once an ace falls.
