Default A non-pair hand - part1.

The villain here was a lag but not an idiot and paced himself (i.e. he would turn on the heat, then turn it off to maybe build up some folding equity - or maybe he was surfing porn, who knows). For the numbers people in the crowd, his PFR was 17% and his aggression #s were in excess of 4.0, SF was 35%.

I've also seen him go for extra bets with an underpair on the turn with people jamming it at him with Ace-high.

I like this line against the opponent you describe. Since he's super aggressive, a turn checkraise could just be a play for the pot and he's likely to bet the river if you check the turn.

It doesn't really matter if you check or bet the turn here, but if you check, you must pay off the river bet. Since you think you might be raised light on the turn, but you can't fold to the raise, then I like this line even more.
