Default over limping w/ 22

I've heard that limping in a 6 max game w/ any PP is good as long as there is 1 other limper. Why is this the case? You are 7:1 to flop a set and playing a PP vs 3-4 people is the worst case scenerio.

i say that with one limper to you, limp with 6s and below, raise 7s and up. pairs are good, esp if you can get it hu

?

You are closer to 2.33 to 1 to hit a pair on the flop.

Aye. Sorry for the confusion. I was for some reason (watching MNF football may have somthing to do with it) thinking of odds drawing to pair up one of your hole cards after the flop.

Oh, and pairing up one of your hole cards on the flop is 2.5-1 (about or at 29%).
