Default Any secrets on booking trips to Vegas??

Wanting to go to Vegas next year and searched the web, sure seems like a lot of money to go and spend a lot. It has been about 10 years since I have been, I used to be able to call a casino, put money into an account and get free airline tickets, but that does not seem to be the case now. Does anyone have any secrets for booking a trip???
Any help will be appreciated.

Get a cheap airfare during a slow time. Use Lasvegasadvisor.com to scope out hotel rates, a slow time is when the rates are low. You can also check via excalibur.com and look at a calendar, book through the hotel directly on the web. Watch the rates, they love to bump up the rates and give specials 2-7 days before, I got a 89 dollar rate at Treasure Island this way, it was up for a day.

If your a poker player, call some rooms you think you would like to play in and ask for the Poker office. They should have a poker rate in exchange for you playing a set number of hours (ask for what's needed). Then check southwest.com for cheap airfares.

Amen.

Also, when booking trips to Vegas, do it more often. It's healthier than staying away and suffering whithdrawal.

Best advice so far. Practice makes perfect.

Also, checkout allvegaspoker.com they have the poker room rates and poker room reviews. The Luxor has a pretty good deal sure there are others. I was considering the strat next time, short walk to monorail at Sahara, I love their poker room.

Good luck,
Pete
