Default DVD ripping software?

High quality rips and circuimventing copyright is a must, free or cheap is a bonus. Any suggestions?

DVD Decrypter is a nice simple ripping and DeCSS program.

DVD Shrink is a good automated DVD backup program. Will compress your 8GB dvds onto a 4GB DVD-R with little loss of quality.

Just google for links. All free.
