Default My first 500 22\'s

Well this has been fun, I just completed my first 500 22's and since I only played about 30 11's I think i faired pretty well. I'm not gonna get to down on my low ROI since I still am in the balck but I hope to at least double it by the time I get done with 1000.

I am about to embark on a quest of 800 SnG's (400 22's and 400 33's) in 30 days, starting tommorow. So wish me luck my goal is to make $2k w/ rakeback and buy a 20" LCD monitor.

So here are my stats for the first 500 of my Sng career:
P.S. I have been drawn out on more than anyone in their past 500 garunteed.

You don't suck.

This forum is full of luckboxes who only share their huge stats.

Youve done better than approximately 95% of all players and at approximately 20%+ of 2+2ers at that level. +ROI is a great foundation for poker. Gl in your next 500.

Thanks guys. Irieguy, are there any posts you coulod point me to that talk about playing the blinds in these levels? I am sure that this is a problem for me as I have never really had a good foundation as to what to do in these high blind to stack ratio situations.

I started yesterday. Played 17 STTs, with -25% ROI and 30% ITM.

I've played at least a dozen today (so total of like 30). I'm at -12% ROI and 34% ITM. 0% 1st, 28% 2nd and 24% 7th .

The funniest thing is the only 2 really boneheaded moves I've made I actually won, . Oh, in my last STT I was called 'the luckiest player I've ever seen in any STT'....and I got second of course, . You'd think I could at least have gotten 1st if I'm that lucky.

Congratulations on a winning 500. If you can play 500 SNGs at any level and win, that's a good thing.

Based only on your finish distributions and ITM% (which can be indicative of certain things over 500 tourneys), it looks like you probably don't play your blinds well enough in levels 4-6.

If you lose money in the blinds during these levels, you will get a lot of 4ths-6ths and be too short stacked ITM to get your fair share of 1sts.

Obviously, it's impossible to tell what you're doing wrong from the blinds without looking at HHs... but the players I've worked with that have similar finish distributions have all shared this problem.
