too tight? easy fold?
Does anybody limp/play this hand?
Is this even questionable? PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) converter $10+1 UTG (t1630) UTG+1 (t1490) Hero (t1470) MP2 (t1700) MP3 (t1670) CO (t1220) Button (t1450) SB (t1440) BB (t1430) Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Re: too tight? easy fold?
I second these motions...hell i'll fold on the button just to avoid the ace flopping. I hate decisions.

Re: too tight? easy fold?
I would usually fold, but calling isn't nearly as bad as everyone is making it out to be, especially against opponents who may throw their money at you if you hit a good flop.
If you call you'll have to play well postflop when you make a medium strength hand, such as pair of aces with weak kicker, a flush draw or top pair with the 7. If you don't play well in these situations, then it's probably best to learn, however I would still fold this. I would call in a Multi Table tourney however. |

calling isn't nearly as bad as everyone is making it out to be [/ QUOTE ] I agree. A lot of times in a P-Stars $10+1, your call here will result in 5 (or more) people seeing the flop, play for two pair or a flush, and try to see free cards cheap if you get a flush draw. |
