X-posted from the other thread. Just for the hell of it, I decided to see exactly what 5dimes would let you do in their monster teasers. It took me forever to place the bet because they won't let you do a lot of correlations and such. But if you are interested, here is what I ended up with. I had to lay -225 on this. I didn't really want the Indy/Jax o22, but by the time I realized it was in there I did not want to go back through the whole thing again.

Disclaimer: I'm not claiming this is a +EV bet -- this was just for kicks and to test their correlations check. Each of these would have to be roughly 96% to make this +EV.

I tried to do one of these to test the same. It was taking forever and when I finally clicked to bet I got the line change error message and said: forget it.

Did they not give you the full 20 points for the individual team totals? 25.5 sounds high for both Miami and TB.

You get 20 on game sides and game totals. You get 10 on first half sides, first half totals, and team totals.

I think that makes these plays worse than game sides and totals. More variance when you are only dealing with 1 half or 1 team.

I agree.

Well, 1-0 on these monster teasers so far, but I don't see them becoming a regular feature in my betting. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
