Default Hand felt so wrong, hit trips facing raise

Party Poker .50/1 (6 max, 5 handed)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, BB checks.

Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
(converter messed up here) UTG raised, SB folded, everyone else called.

Turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
BB checks, UTG Bets, Hero raises, BB calls, UTG calls.

River: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks.


Any thoughts?

Bet the river. Cry and call a raise if he hit a straight.

I have no idea what is going on this hand. I think you should bet the river.

I would have re-raised the flop. You have a pair, OESD and backdoor flush. Doesn't get much better than this.

With that in mind, you might have won it on the turn with a bet/raise on the turn.

I would have also led out on the river.

fwiw i agree here, raise every street til your shown some resistance.

make sure the converter is in 2+2 instead of FTR in the top left hand corner, im guessing thats what went wrong?

and in online try not to go with feels too much. always remember, if you played this time a hundred thousand times what would be your best play the majority of the time?

i would say the vast majority you are miles ahead on this river.
