Default too passive with JJ

no reads but his stats after 40 hands are 63/3/1.25 so he is quite passive.

Am I too passive?

I don't like this board even with overs.

I like it against this guy. His stats seem to say he's passive and now he's showing aggression. Decent size pot so call down after the 3-bet.

This combination of VPIP and PAF is pretty aggressive, actually.

Given that he's so loose, however, you can't really narrow CO's holdings to something that DON'T match up with this board, like A2s, or 62o , so I like the calldown after the flop 3-bet.

I'd cap the flop and then see how much he likes his hand on the turn.

Given the aggression factor there's a good chance this player is very aggressive postflop actually unless he folds a LOT on the flop. There's also a good chance he has an overpair to the board so I'm not fearing a set or straight just yet. He is capable of raising preflop as well so it's less likely you're against AA/KK/QQ. A hand like Axs is giving you a ton of action here, especially A5s and there's a reasonable chance he has something like tpgk.

Would that aggressiveness be equal to 2.5 for someone with a VPIP of 31?

There was a really good post about this a month or so (maybe a little more) ago. iirc, it's not a direct correlation like that, it's actually a tad higher so it's more like 2.7 or 2.8, but it's also dependent on where he folds the most (somebody else in this thread wondered how much Villan folds on the flop).

Too bad I'm so lazy or I'd look up that old thread....
