Default Hand from the PS 350K

I'm doing quite well, with T53K or so, with the average at T22K. Come root me on if you want, I'm playing under the same nick.

But, I have an interesting hand to post, and I'm wondering what your action would be here.

Blinds are 1000/2000 at this point, and the chip stacks are as follows.

Seat 1: neverwin (61463 in chips)
Seat 2: Stianeddy (8233 in chips)
Seat 3: MADPLAYER (52741 in chips)
Seat 4: JayWay (14674 in chips)
Seat 5: theoneseyes (7193 in chips)
Seat 6: Phoelex (6925 in chips)
Seat 7: ActionDave (8427 in chips)
Seat 8: WillMagic (61297 in chips)
Seat 9: whitehot (3218 in chips)

I'm UTG+2, and i have A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG folds, UTG+1 (ActionDave) moves in for T8427. What's your play and why?

Im new to this forums so what does UTG stands for??

I would probably called the all in with AK because the worst possible situation yo might have is against AA or KK. IF you think you 2 over cards, then you should take that chance and call. Also he can easily have AQ AJ KQ KJ, if he has any of those hands you are a big favorite to win the hand.

This early of position i muck and cuss profusely at the computer if yu just call someone might get tricky with 9,9 10,10 or j,j here and push. Then yu simply have to muck no way you want to go3 ways with big slick....It isnt a strong enough hand to move in here imho and man yu just dont need the chips mucking is free and your stack isnt at the point were yu are searching out coinflips just to knock people out....

Unless you're very close to the bubble, I push, he only has 4 BBs, he'll be pushing a wide range of hands. He's just as likely to turn over A8 as AA.

I think you played it optimally, Will. Tough luck though.

Someone said push and I'm not sure if I'd do that. I would certainly re-raise but you can do that up to around T20k and not be pot committed. What do you do if you push and someone wakes up with AA / KK. Chances are if someone comes over the top of your re-raise you're behind and you can still get out with an above average stack.
