Default Easy Push?

I have previously been pushing back to him when he just completes as SB and so I was fearing some kind of fancy play and getting lit up and just checked. I know I am probably overthinking things...but anyway...

Total number of players : 4
Seat 1: sideout3 (3045)
Seat 3: andy_fish (1950)
Seat 6: LesMontan (2397)
Seat 9: SAKIC19 (608)
sideout3 posts small blind (100)
andy_fish posts big blind (200)
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to andy_fish [ 9d, Td ]
LesMontan folds.
SAKIC19 folds.
sideout3 calls (100)
andy_fish checks.
** Dealing Flop ** : [ 8s, Ts, 7h ]

I don't see why you wouldn't just bet 200 here on the flop and push the turn.
you got an amazing flop now extract some chips from it.

I thought about that...but what if he has an 8 or 9 and pushes back? Then I would start thinking that he was using fancy play and is sitting on an over pair (which was not the case btw) and then count my outs figuring calling the push is a coin flip which sucks since there is a small stack sitting in 4th.

in general, MOST players don't trap in the SBvsBB. It does happen but it's an exception rather then the rule IMHO.
