Default Sportscasters you dislike

Tom Tolbert
Joe Buck
Joe Morgan

These guys really need to focus more on play-by-play, less on non-stop trivial fact reporting, and ocassionally take a breather so I can watch the game without listening to them.

i know zilch about tolbert, but buck and morgan are ego maniacs. btw, you didn't think the ongoing thread on joe morgan was slightly relevant to this one?

Joe Buck turns my stomach with his lame comedy shtick. And on regional cable YES Michael Kay is a joke broadcasting Yankee games. During Sunday's Yank-Angel game he said Yanks got rid of Juan Rivera of Angels because he pilfered Derek Jeter's glove during spring training a couple years back. Bobby Murcer solemnly talks about trust and sanctity of the clubhouse when talking about incident. One problem, it wasn't Juan Rivera who did it. It was Ruben Rivera in 1999.
Just disgraceful, making a mistake like this.

Mistakes I can live with, its when they dont correct themselves that irritaes me. Like, there has to be someone who says "um, your wrong".

zero accountability. they just say what they want, and have no one to answer to.

There are a couple of "teams" that I can't stand. Buck, Collinsworth, and Aikman doing football is almost unwatchable. Also, on TNT, during the NBA playoffs there was a team of John Thompson, Rex Chapman, and Matt Devlin that was just awful.

I saw Tolbert mentioned and I'd agree when he's doing games that he's pretty bad, but I like him in the studio.

This team is slightly broken up with Collinsworth leaving for NBC.

FWIW John Madden is becoming unwatchable to me. Sometimes I think he isn't even watching the game. He just cans his booms, and bams and then goes home in the middle of the first quarter.

I have yet to hear the son of a famous broadcaster who is any good.
