In my infinite boredom, I decided to do some research on this phenomenon. What I discovered was quite odd. There are a bunch of different time zones throughout the world and because of that, it was midnight for everyone in each of those time zones at different times. Weird, but true. This was probably devised to prevent the entire world from being hungover at the same time. Not only that, but how do you think the Chinese would feel having to light their 4th of July fireworks in the middle of the day? This is all starting to make sense.
