Default Multi Tables Duration ?

Hi all,

I'd like to play some online Multi Tables tournaments, but I sometimes have a tight schedule. I was wondering if you guys could give me some guideline as to how long last a multi table tourney... roughly of course. Say with 250/500 or 750 people.

Thanks,

Gus

They usually take me about 15 minutes.

Of course, if you plan on winning it might take longer.

Ive only played in Party multi's, one with around 500 which took 3-4 hours, and one with 1000+ (a PPM semi) which took around 7 hours.

On Stars (the acknowledged best tourney site) a typical weeknight NL HE tourney will have 100 to 250 players. If you were to go all the way and get HU on the end and play it out, it's about a four hour commitment. +300 hands for going all the way. The popular $200 Sunday tourney that attracts upwards of 800 players, can go over five. Usually by first break (every hour) half the field is gone (assuming NL here). By second break the money is nearing, by third you're at or very near the final table.
