I'm in SB, with 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Blinds are 2,000/4,000.

Tables folds around to small stack (22,000) who limps in for 4000.

I have 38,000 and have BB and limper covered. BB has been playing very tight.

I push with 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Thoughts?

I'll give results later.

call. too often i've been called by the limper with as low as Ax, Kx, all PP etc. besides, you will be button next hand with 9.5bb. Call given great pot odds.

Yea take a cheap flop, although stealing would cross my mind too. I think the short stack will call with a wide variety of hands; your fold equity from him may be very low. There's also a chance he has a premium hand, and was afraid a raise would kill his action, especially if he had been playing tight to that point. God knows I've been in that seat before.

Tournament was $10 rebuy, Prima 20k grntd. It was in the money, about 50-60 left.

Results!

BB folds - Actually he folded until he got AK in 6000 BB and pushed for another 1k more.

SB calls all with - Shows A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I say holy #$@#%@%$$ and

flop comes with 2 clubs, turn & river are blank.

VILLAIN wins with A high.

I was short stacked and then busted out a few hands later by making a poor call all in with AJo, after a player in early position pushed with AQo.
