Flop: (4.50 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

Turn: (2.25 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

River: (4.25 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero caps, BB calls.

lol your hand is an effing monster in his eyes i would think you had AK/KK/99 if you all of the sudden you raised that river after the flop check behind and turn call.

so i have no idea why you're 3-betting the river.

that said - bet the flop, turn, and river.

i laugh when he shows 55 or 87.

remember, these players slowplay, so they (more than tags) expect this to be a monstrous hand. when he 3-bets, he is telling you you're bossed.

1) You don't have to worry about giving the guy a draw on the turn 'cause he won't have the odds to go for it

2) You loose a sb against a flop peeler

3) you gain 1 sb against a guy with small pair

4) You definitely need to raise the turn

5) You may gain or loose a bb or so against a LAG depending on how he feels and what he has.

6) You loose a sb against a gutshot unless he's dumb enough to bet on the turn, which he may be
