Default Running Bad

I have been running really bad online lately, i keep going in with the best hand, and people keep sucking me out, occasionally i'll get a little ahead, but the next day i'll take another hit, i'm at the point now where i have one tournament entry left (even though i am mainly a limit cash game player) so i think i'm going to put it all on that, how do you guys suggest suffering through a bad run, don't get me wrong, i've run bad before, but this has been going for like a month or two. just my story.

There's not nearly enough information in this post for anyone to really offer any help. I hope you don't get flamed too badly. Post hands and try to improve, you probably aren't as good as you think you are.

that's a very bad idea. Just move down in limits and continue grinding away.

I'm running pretty bad right now.. I'm on a downswing that has just crossed the 200BB range (I play short handed mostly). It seems like my AK keeps losing to AQ and AJ. However, you can't get mad. That's the worst thing you can do.

Downswings are the reason that you manage your bankroll. Let's say I have a $3000 bankroll and I'm playing $3/6. I can lose 200 Big Bets and still have $1800 left which is still sufficient for $3/6. It's easier not to tilt that way.

Some people say to take a break. I don't tilt too easily, so I just play through it. If you get your hands played, and you are a winnning player, then all will be fine.

Everyone experiences downswings, there's nothing you can do. Putting the rest of your bankroll in a tournament when you're predominantly a cash game player isn't the best idea. Move down in limits, try to build some back, and then go back up. I'm not sure how bad your downswing is, but I just had a 150 BB downswing. It happens, just keep playing and things will start going your way, hopefully.

Hopefully, the one tournament fee is enough for the WSOP and not a 5 dollar SNG.

This is not meant to flame or insult you, although you will probably take it that way.

You are most likely not yet at the point in your poker game where you are a long term winner. Move down to the lowest stakes possible, and don't move back up again until you are beating those stakes for at least 3 bb/100 for 30k hands.
