That is to say. No one I know under 40 understands "eye candy" to mean, exclusively, "hot chicks."

I am under 40. I understand "eye candy" to be hot chicks. I'm perfectly fine with the fact that "eye candy" could be anything that looks good, but it doesn't: in common parlance it means "hot chicks." You are off on this one.
