Default At what point would you slow down here?

Ultimate Bet 0.50/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
2 folds, UTG+2 calls, 1 fold, MP2 calls, Hero raises, 3 folds, BB calls, UTG+2 calls, MP2 calls.

Flop: (8.50 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB bets, UTG+2 folds, MP2 folds, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero caps, BB calls.

Turn: (8.25 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

River: (10.25 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 12.25 BB
Main Pot: 12.25 BB, between Hero and BB. > Pot won by Hero (12.25 BB).

I hate how I played this.

I already know I played this too timidly. My question is, if I continue as the aggressor after the flop, at what point do you put on the breaks if the BB continues to raise?

Thanks,

Bubbagump

Results in white below:
BB shows Kh 9d (one pair, kings).
Hero shows Kc As (one pair, kings).
Outcome: Hero wins 12.25 BB.

I don't think you played this too timidly. You showed a great deal of strength by raising pre-flop and capping the flop, and he still bets into on the turn when a third [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] comes. He seems to be trying to tell you he can beat top pair.

I would have played it identically, street for street. Well played, in my opinion.

Totally fine. Can't put him on a hand that you beat given that action.

After you raise PF and cap the flop and he doesn't bat an eye, I don't see anything wrong with slowing down. You weren't too timid, the BB was just overly aggressive.

I expected to see him show a whacky two-pair.

Hey Bubbagump,
If you raise the turn and get 3bet, then you can slow down, IMHO.

I think this is fine. When he bets the turn after your flop cap you are usually beat. You might as well have pasted "AA/AK" on your forehead. Luckily your opponent did not bother to look.
