Interesting 2/4 Hand, Big Stacks Collide
Playing some 2/4 NL, 5 handed on Full Tilt. Right now I got a sorta LAG image and villian I would say is TAG. Would like some opinions on this hand and how you play this after the flop.
Seat 1: Villian ($777.25) Seat 2: Hero ($417.20) Hero posts the small blind of $2 Player posts the big blind of $4 The button is in seat #1 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to Hero [9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]] Player calls $4 Villian raises to $12 Hero calls $10 Player calls $8 *** FLOP *** [9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]] [7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]] [Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]] Hero bets $24 Villian raises to $48 Hero ??? |

Re: Interesting 2/4 Hand, Big Stacks Collide
first, your stacks are not big. at all.
as for the hand... call the flop, if the turn is a blank, checkraise all in... if its scary, tell me what it is. |

Re: Interesting 2/4 Hand, Big Stacks Collide
First of, your stack isn't big. Second, playing Q9s OOP to a raise is an easy way to lose money if you don't know what to do when you hit your flop and get action. My guess is that if you make a significant re-raise (unless you do it often), you're not getting any action unless you're beat or he's chasing at the flush. You've put yourself in a bad spot because I don't think you get action if you re-raise, and if you just call there are a lot of cards you don't want to see on the turn.
You have no read on this guy so my line is call the flop, lead in on the turn for the pot and be ready to give your hand up if a bad card comes and he shows strength. |

Re: Interesting 2/4 Hand, Big Stacks Collide
I meant the big stacks at the table collide. I didn't mean that we both had 1k or something.
my mistake |

Results
Since no one is interested in this hand I will go ahead and post the results.
We got all the money in on the flop, he showed 77 and I didnt hit my 4 outer. I love getting poker trapped. |
