Default \"Beating\" a level

What is beating a level? What levels have you beaten?

I'm currently beating $0.02/$0.04 short-handed.

afaict the question isn't answered. It seems it has no real solid answer. I was just interested as to what people on the forums felt they were beating.... Are most people here BEATING the lower limit games, or do you feel you are still primarily learning?

I get the impression a few of the regular posters are here even though they crush SSLH.

I play .50/1 and 1/2 6max and I am doing pretty well in both. Going to start get some hands in at 2/4 6max at UB in the next week or so.

After 10300 hands at .05/.10 I have earned $58 with a 5.72 BB/100. Imo I'm beating the limit and have since moved up but I still have and always will have, much more to learn.

You will always be learning no matter what your earn rate is.

Here are a couple of posts that should help:
Mr Wookie's Bankroll Post
Homer's post on confidence intervals

Good Luck

when you win and feel confident moving up. I think you have beaten that level. I played .05/.10 for 3 weeks, when I had a roll for .25/.50, I moved up. rinse/repeat.

I think if you can honestly say you are in the green for a fair amount of time/hands, then according to published reports, you are better than 95% of the players you are playing against. But who knows?
