How is Turningstone? Tough/easy games? What limits do they have there? I'm thinking of heading over there next time I visit my sister since she's not too far from it (and since I'm not quite old enough to play at non-indian casinos).

I really hate that no alcohol rule, both for personal consumption and because it takes away from random drunk LAG's.

Believe me, they turn a blind eye to personal consumption at the Stone

Edit to add encounter:

Us: can we drink in here?
Tina Marie: why don't you put it in a bag or something?

Nice table, fun dealers, much more professional than Foxwoods IMO.

[/ QUOTE ]

Major reason for that...Turning Stone dealers are keeping their own tips, while Foxwoods aren't... Just seems like a reason that I would want to be more professional, and fun for that matter... Until the 'Woods changes their policies regarding poker dealers, they'll always be sub-par...

[/ QUOTE ]

Turning Stone dealers are some of my favorite anywhere. They are much more competent than Foxwoods dealers and many are more fun than AC dealers.

Keeping their own tips is one thing. Another is that many of the TS poker dealers have been around since the room opened (I remember playing with some of them when the room was in a totally different part of the casino). They are experienced, know the TS system well, and seem to enjoy their jobs.
