Elliot Smith was a great performer. I saw him perform before. I can't remember if i saw him twice or just once, the concerts blur in my memory after so many. but he was good. i liked his music a lot. the album XO was the one we listened to all the time when we used to play poker over at my friend's place. i also had the habit of listening to it every time i went to the casino. it calmed me.

He was a great songwriter and performer. what a tragic story
