I bet the river when he checks to you. I would probably raise the turn if I was playing, but looking at it checking behiind with your K draw is probably better.

Why do we not bet the river when he checks?

I'd valuebet this river every time. It looks to me like villian has a Q & put you on the A high flush draw, but will probably make a crying call on the river.

Really? What level is this? It's very rare I meet a player who'll bust out the sexy on me like this. I'll bet the river against an unknown.

That's a strange check by villain on the river. The ace seemed to scare him which would lead me to think my KK may be good. He might think his two pair just got counterfeited by AQ/AT etc. A river bet may have some value here.

its .5/1 on hollywood and i see all sorts of weird lines. As i type this, someone turned 2 pair, c/c'd and then c/rd the river

Does anyone else raise the turn for a free showdown? We've got lots of outs if behind, we're committed to showdown, and villain may not bet the river if a fourth heart comes. I'm looking for spots when the free showdown raise is correct, and I think an important condition is that villain may not bet the river when you hit your draw. That certainly seems to be the case here, although I could be biased by having seen the river check.
