The following definitely require the presence of marijuana:

I Heart Huckabees
Being John Malkovich

I like most of the movies on you list that Ive seen, the ones you could skip are:
Hard Eight
Donnie Darko: Director's Cut
25th Hour
The Score

Obv,
I didn't like Donnie Darko. Many intelligent people I know insist it is good. I am giving ti another try, but my expectations are very low.

Be healthy,

When I got Heard Eight, I guess I was expecting it to live up to Boogie Nights, but it wasnt even close. As far as a gambling movie, all it had was the slot scam and wasnt very satisfying.

25th hour is just depressing. I kept wanting him, and the rest of the characters in the movie, to grow some balls and do something about their situation. If you need a good Ed Norton movie, American History X and The People Versus Larry Flynt are much better.

RE: donnie darko. I guess it should be in the marijuana category and not the skip category. This is really just a movie to trip out to. Movie snobs are suckers for twist endings. It reminds me of how "The Sixth Sense" was so popular.

Theatrical Cut is actually better IMO, if you haven't seen either I would pick that one.

yeah, I really liked it, there was a lot wrong with the movie and it could have been better, but it still gets hated on way more than it deserves.
