Default *****Official Paul Pierce for MVP thread*****

Just like everyone else in New England, I wanted Pierce out of Boston after last years antics after the game 7 loss to Indiana. However, this year, he is shooting a high percentage, is the best rebounding guard in the league, teaching the younger players to be professionals, and getting a ton of assists. Not to mention he has no problem shutting down the other teams top wing player. He held Tmac to 14 tonight, and when he plays HU against the likes of kobe, mcgrady, lebron, etc. he consistently outperforms them.

You heard it here first, Paul Pierce is a professional who is going to take these "rebuilding" Celtics to the top of the Atlantic Division with 47 wins. And oh yea, pick up the league's most valuable player award.

He may or may not win it, but Tim Duncan is the MVP every year. The NBA MVP is a joke.

Actually, NBA MVP has the best representation for best player in the three major sports IMO. Just discount the Malone over Jordan jopke.

Compared to baseball. Miguel Tejada. Billy Beane even said he wasn't the most valuable on the team that year. And I think hes a decent talent evaluator.

At least baseball is smart enough to keep awarding it to Bonds every year. Even so, he still got robbed of 2 MVP's.

Yes I did and yes I did.

Amare, Amare, Amare, Amare.

Nash helped them a lot because they were so godawful at PG before he got there. Since you brought up the talent evaluators you can go out there and ask the NBA talent scouts who they could use on their team more Amare or Nash. Every single one of them would say Amare, every single one.
