Raise. They'll call anyway.

With this many guys behind you, I think there'll be at least one sucker back there. Raise.

Want to cross post this to small stakes? I don't know the party 2/4 well enough to form an opinion.

Fastplaying is the new slowplaying means that fastplaying is the best strategy in a lot of cases. You always hear people talking about slowplaying monsters, but most of the time you should fastplay(raise in this situation) your good hands because you will get lots of coldcallers anyway, and you will make more money this way. Calling the flop on a paired board and then raising(or check-raising) the turn is also the standard play for most players who flop trips, and lots of people are aware of this. I like raising here because no one will put you on trips right away.

I guess I always figured 2/4 was the grey area between micros and small stakes, but it sounds like people want this one posted upstairs.

FWIW, I think 2/4 plays very similar to .5/1 on Party, especially at the jackpot tables (where this was played) so all the regular assumptions about players apply.

Well yeah I agree with all of this but fastplaying (well, rarely slowplaying) has always been the standard line for good flops on these forums. It's not really new or anything.

Really? I would think most people would put you squarely on trips if you raised here. What else would you have other than a flush draw?
