Re: WEAPONS.
.380 Walther PPK or .44 Special Taurus snub, strapped to the small of my back. These are like a part of my body or a part my wardrobe at this point.
I have a permit - I recommend that you get one if you intend to carry also. |

Re: WEAPONS.
Another extremely legally safe version of that just occurred to me -- those Maglite brand flashlights that are about five or six inches long. They have a hole at the base end if you want to attach a leather strap to it, but anyway, they're made out of good metal and are very tough. They're thin and easy to carry, but you could punch a hole in somebody's skull with one of those things.

Re: WEAPONS.
True.
Any chance you know where you can find a Ju-Jo? Those would do as well. -Diplomat |

Re: WEAPONS.
Some good suggestions. I have one of these,an Asp Key Defender
In addition to serving as a blunt object for gouging etc. it contains a small canister of pepper spray, good for a couple of good squirts. And it attaches to the key chain making it non-obtrusive and easy to carry. Swede |

Re: WEAPONS.
That's pretty much the equivalent of the yawara stick style weapons, with the addition of the spray.
In California, and through mail order, there are legally approved versions made from a Tak Kubota design that are called something like Kubotans or something I think. Anyway, they're easy to find in martial arts stores, come in wood or metal, with rounded or slightly pointed ends, and a keychain attached. Very much like the thing you have pictured there. |
