You can't fold here. Let's assume the worst, he has a flush. You still have a 5 out there, and any K and any 2, gives you a boat. Also, if the turn is neither a K, 2, or a 5, it adds another out. If the turn is blank, you now have approximately 9 outs (more if the guy doesn't have two pair on the flop). So call down to the river on the worst case scenario and you can still win.
Some people like to show this agression with the Ace of diamonds to scare people off, knowing if they get called, they have the Ace to hit by the river.
Next time call down to the river and bust that flush!

I liked that turn card since it wasn't a diamond. I'd lead right out and 3-bet if raised. I'm happy that the river didn't bring another diamond but mad that the board didn't pair. If the CO capped the turn, I'd probably check/call the river.

A-x of diamonds is a hand that we draw out on with reasonable frequency. KK we beat very rarely.

This is an interesting hand. I'm torn whether to bet out or check/raise the flop. I'm definitely capping it when it comes back to me.

After I lead out on the turn if I am raised then I'll slow down and just call the raise and check/call the river (unless of course I improve to a full house).

Well, that's what I did...

River: (15 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, MP2 checks, CO bets, Hero calls, BB folds, MP2 calls.

Final Pot: 18 BB

Results in white below:
MP2 has Jc Ks (two pair, kings and jacks).
CO has 7d 6d (flush, king high).
Hero has 5s 5h (three of a kind, fives).
Outcome: CO wins 18 BB.

I like leading out and betting the flop if you plan on jamming this pot (which you should). The PFR is likely to raise you which gets you 3 or 4 bets in on the flop instead of 2 with a CR.

If you flop a set, folding before the river is very bad.
