I said that first. You're right, I almost always make this mistake of this when calling 2 after an initial limp/call

Um, does OP mean me?

I guessed the other players were holding various A's and K's or Q's with better (non-paired) kickers. I think KK and KQ were the real threats on the turn, and those were definitely possible (especially KK) which is why I was thinking (too late) that I should've slowed down on the turn.

Seems like most people are more concerned with the pre-flop call and cold-call. Q6s is a hand that I would muck in most games for a single-bet, but I think it's playable for 1 bet with multiple callers. Maybe 3 isn't "multiple"... The cold-call was definitely more questionable but, being suited, I couldn't resist taking a shot at what figured to be a pretty big pot.

OP = original poster and yes that means you. Everyone's concerned about the preflop play because the postflop play is self-explanatory.

I'd need a couple more callers to justify calling this one the first time around.

I agree. I don't want to play in a raised pot (even if it only costs me one bet) with 3 players when all I am holding is Q6s.
