Default Full tilt Heads up Hand (lc)

Well, I'm clearing the full tilt bonus, which is going to take literally 2 months. Anyway, short br there, I'm playing NL100. Here wasthe last hand of my session tonight. Enjoy! (I have to refine hand 'cause bison doesnt work with FTP, apparently) It's a heads up hand.

$0.50/$1 - No Limit Hold'em - 5:03:02 ET - 2005/11/11
Seat 1: Villain ($417.90)
Seat 6: Hero ($531.65)
Villain posts the small blind of $0.50
Hero posts the big blind of $1
The button is in seat #1
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Hero [3h Ah]
Villain raises to $3
Hero raises to $9
Villain calls $6
*** FLOP *** [Th Kh 3c] pot size = 18$
Hero bets $18
Villain calls $18
*** TURN *** [Th Kh 3c] [7h] pot size = 54$
Hero checks
Villain bets $35
Hero raises to $120
Villain calls $85
*** RIVER *** [Th Kh 3c 7h] [7c] pot size = 294$
Hero bets $294

Villain: &%%&
Villain has 15 seconds left to act
Villain calls $270.90, and is all in
Uncalled bet of $23.10 returned to Hero

results in white
*** SHOW DOWN ***
Hero shows [3h Ah] (a flush, Ace high)
Villain mucks
Hero wins the pot ($835.30) with a flush, Ace high
Hero: gg man
Villain is sitting out
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $835.80 | Rake $0.50
Board: [Th Kh 3c 7h 7c]
Seat 1: Villain(small blind) mucked [5h 4h] - a flush, King high
Seat 6: Hero (big blind) showed [3h Ah] and won ($835.30) with a flush, Ace high

It seems these heads up games have really turned my downswing around!

Hero has Th 9d (straight, jack high).
Outcome: Hero wins $1194.

reminds me of this hand ... villain was donking it up on a 6-max 600 NL table and making fun of everyones play, and challenged all of us to a HU match on an empty full-ring 600 NL table

so i sat down with him

this is the second hand in ....i called flop planning on taking it away on the turn if he checked/bet small, but as soon as he bet 40 on the turn, i knew he had TPTK or better, and my draw was there, so the implied odds were perfect

sadly i couldnt finish off his last 6 because he got KK and i got Q2

without giving away too many "secrets" (haha! ) I'm of the opinion the only two very good groups of hands in nlh are suited aces and pocket pairs.

It's what I preach alot when I coach.

So... When... We're both deep, I never fail to reraise A3s, unless he's been a maniac. And he had been raising alot but never reraising.

Plus, this is heads up, I was reraising a few kinds of hands.

LoL! It's so funny though when they pick up AA or KK or QQ and have just 1 mere bb.

I like heads up except today it took me a long time to realize that 3 of my 6 tables had degenerated to superaggro 3-handed or HU games. I cleaned up though (just good cards - I suck)
