I like raising here because no one will put you on trips right away

Really? I would think most people would put you squarely on trips if you raised here. What else would you have other than a flush draw?

Most bad players don't make a strong effort to put others on hands (or at least and effort to do it well). So what you're representing isn't as huge of a deal. Most players will slowplay flopped trips - and everyone knows that. As I remember BisonBison saying once "Disguise your hand by raising."

since you are readless I think raising is standard assuming you have good table selection.

But all situations depends on the players left to act and how big the pot is. In this case the pot is small so trying to keep players in wouldn't be horrible unless you know the players behind you are very loose and will call 2 cold.

With the weak kicker and two hearts on the board, I go ahead and raise and thank the poker gods for a lucky flop.

Meh. 2/4 is definitely a gray area between the two sections. Posting hands you think are likely to be on the simpler side here in the micros is just fine.

Plus the Small Stakes forum kinda sucks so you might as well post here as long as you can.

I agree. Within a couple hours, stuff on the first page drops off to the 2nd or 3rd at small stakes. At least here its going to stay up for at least 24 hours.

I think it's all the new guys clogging up with "How to extract the most money" posts.

easy raise. No sense letting someone draw to the flush cheaply (if it's out there). Get the money in while you have the best hand.

Sorry to differ in opinion, but how about this.

You smooth call assuming SB will bet turn...then make your raise..

I don't know the tables you guys play on, but I don't know a lot of people will always cold call two bets...

You're not going to get a flush draw to fold..

Maybe .25/.50 or lower, but I think anything higher a lot of people will fold...

Rip me apart now if you please.
