Default Blind steal gets pushed back at, call or fold?

Hero is on a blind steal and short stack pushes...before I get a chorus of "fold preflop" my read on BB was that he was tight..

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 antes 25 (9 handed) converter

SB (t12000)
BB (t22210)
UTG (t21490)
UTG+1 (t8000)
MP1 (t11420)
MP2 (t3170)
Hero (t14295)
CO (t15600)
Button (t3485)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to t800</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to t3460</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>,

It's [t2660] to me for a pot of 4785

call or fold?

I don't mind trying to steal here, especially if players left to act are tight, unless you've been stealing a lot lately. Pretty easy fold to the reraise IMO.

How aggressive is the other player and have you been stealing a lot? What you should do depends this.

Fold. It's not really close IMO.

ya easy fold, you're probably a 2:1 dog against 2 overs (at best), possibly a 3:1 dog with hands like 9-9, 10-10, and 4:1 against the higher pairs.. all in all I don't see how you can even think of calling this being layed your odds. Only different situation is if you're already pot committed with a raise or something, but you're pretty deepstacked here.. you tried a steal and it didn't work, time to abort mission.

Ok, you're in MP3, which isn't a *typical* blind stealing position for many straightforward players. I like the steal here, but you're reraised by the button! He can't know you're putting a move from MP3 (cause most don't), so I think he has real strength with 2 players behind him and then you.

Fold 80% of the time.
