This can't be. In 5/10 the bb is 2.5 times the size of the sb but he is losing 33% more out of the sb? odds are its not an abberation, its a leak. Even if its not it can't hurt to look at it.

i can make you a winning player with one adjustment. fold every hand in the sb except aa-1010, ak and aq.

gawd, how do you lose more there than in the bb.

Yeah, I chuckle my arse off everytime someone posts a whiny post and plays a laggy game. I like DCW though. But here is a thought, Schnieds ran 21/16 during his 60K in 60 day challenge. Are you a better player than he was then? No? Then why are you playing more hands then he was?

[/ QUOTE ]

Did you ignore my post? He is playing 22/17 right now. And I'm not sure if your last 2.5 sentances are a joke but there are a few obvious problems with them.

Its likely you have huge leaks here. Your VPIP and PFR are to high for a player who admits to postflop "problems".

First of all i hope you realize that if you had just folded you sb every single time you would have lost less just giving up 2$ a round. You can claim a small sample size, but even over 500BB downswings i never broke the (.16) range for the sb, and i consider blind play my weakest point.

Back to your VPIP and pfr- cut it down. Yes a player can win with these stats, but it doesn't look like you can right now. I can name you several winning 10/20 players who have tried a 28-30/20-23 style only to return to a more conventional 25/17 type of game- there's no shame (well not much) in playing fewer hands.

What makes me think that your quite possibly not a winning player is your 42% W$wsf and 54% W$wtsd- They don't look like you are running cold (from my own experiences with downswings).

Krishan he is playing about as tight as you suggest. I don't know the exact details of how Schneids went about playing 60k in 60 days, whether he played 8 tables at once or just played 4 for long hours. If he was 8 tabling he may not have been able to pull of a looser style that may have been more profitable.

One thing that I forgot to mention. The blind structure i play is 3/5, not 2/5

And its a 20k hand sample.

$60,000 in 60 days. Not 60k hands.

tighten up preflop. go to 22/17 or so. this will make postflop a ton easier and shouldnt hurt your *earn*

[/ QUOTE ]

Look at the average players. I bet his 6 player numbers are close to this.

[/ QUOTE ]

yup

I play HU and 3 handed occasionally when the rooms die down...thats where a good portion of the aggression comes from.

[/ QUOTE ]
That's where a good portion of your variance comes from too. Playing 2-3 handed makes GoT's post irrelevant to your specific situation. With APH at 4.6, your true winrate could be anywhere from -2BB/100 to 2BB/100.

If you don't have cash limitations, the only thing you can do is to keep playing the best you can.

One word of advice....
Try to stay in fuller (5 or 6 handed) games. Your blind stats are horrendous and you're a blind every other hand in 2, 3 and 4 handed games.

Also, follow Victor's suggestion for SB play.
