Default 10/20 scenario

33/7 player limps in MP, you have deuces on the button. sb is solid TAG, BB is a real idiot. 65/12 VERY passive and a HUGE calling station. Tends to call flop, call turn, fold river a lot. Hero should...

I fold this. I'd want another limper before I limp for set equity, and I can't raise to isolate because a) BB will thwart my plans B) when he doesn't i'm up against a limper whose range I'm probably breakeven against.

thank you good sir. i almost timed out, realizing i havent ran into a preflop scenario where I had no clue what to do in a loooong time. I ended up limping and mucking when the mp led out on a Q43 flop.

I want to fold. The BB described makes it unlikely you can ram this through/ use position/you already have a pair against the MP. So you're going to need to do make a hand to show the BB at least. I don't think 22 likes enough flops considering you won't know whats up if the BB calls you, which he probably would. A free card on the flop will rarely be useful also.

i voted limp but i want to change to fold.

the times you don't flop a set, the only way you win is if it's checked to you, and you bet, and get 2 folds, and that doesn't happen against these opponents.

This is a pretty similar hand I played today. I have 33 OTB. A 37/14 limps. I raise (doh! even as I did it I knew this was silly) and the Super-LP BB calls.

Flop (6+ SB) T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and I have no [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Checks to me. I bet and only the Super-LP BB calls. He definitely does not require a pair here.
Turn (4 BB) K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Checked to me I bet again? intending to not put any more bets in.

Do we like the postflop? Do we hate the preflop? I now hate the preflop.
