Default 25/50, STandard Line?

7 handed, just sat down no reads. MP open raises to $150, he has me covered I have 5k and call with Jd Td, guy right behind me calls too, 3 way. Flop is 8h Kh Qs, prf checks, I bet $400, guy behind me folds, pfr calls. Turn is Ah, prf checks, I bet $1100 into $1300 pot, he goes all in I fold.

I don't play at this level, but if you are willing to fire $1100 and fold to a raise, why not check call pot size bet?

i agree with NickPoker

do you think pfr could do this with AQ? what do you put him on when he check calls the flop? i think you should check behind the turn and call a river bet.

I hate checking behind here. With no reads I probably lead for $900 and fold to the raise.

I think that it's relatively close, since you're drawing dead when beaten and he has outs when you're ahead, but I call. I think that you will see AQ (with or without a heart), a set, or some other junk often enough to make calling the better play. What does he have that beats you? QhXh and JhTh rarely check-call that flop after raising preflop. He can't have any hand with the Ah, Kh, or 8h. I just don't think you see a flush here often enough to make up for all the times you're ahead.

Hope it worked out.

So I guess you put the pf raiser on QT, JT, T9, all hearts after his push? Those seem to be the only likely holdings for his line if your fold is going to be correct. Is he the type of player that will make a move on a scare card even if it seems inconsistent with his likely holding? Honestly I'd guess he has something along the lines of two big pair or a set here and is trying to close the hand.
