Default Value bet overpair on river with str and flush on board?

I'm trying to improve my river play lately, and I'm finding this situation a lot in games where everyone's calling down. I also find that many players will either wait in the weeds with a better hand or just call down with a better hand.

SB is insanely loose and passive, BB is TP, and MP is another calling station.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is MP with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG raises, Hero 3-bets, CO calls, 2 folds, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (12.50 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, CO calls, BB calls, UTG calls.

Turn: (8.25 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, CO calls $0.24 (All-In), BB calls, UTG calls.

River: (11.37 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players, 1 all-in)

bet? or be safe?

It's a little scary. I bet every single time.

sometimes you lose, but the river bet makes good money in the long run because of the worse hands that call it down.

Pretty far-fetched straights on the board and if someone's got 2 diamonds then so be it. Bet here planning on winning most of the time.

Yeah I didn't say anything about it but I don't know if we can fold at that point. This is a situation where I actually like to be OOP better cuz I can just check call knowing that some of these donkies are going to bet worse hands + bluff the 3 flush.

I tend to C/C vs 3 or more opponents depending on my reads and board texture.

here its not THAT BAD but i'm tempted to C/C as i wanted to go to showdown and i think someone will bet anyhow.

Also i'd probably call a raise because ummm i want to see im beat? [Insert a good reason to call raise here]

Well here we can't check call cuz we have position.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not all that disciplined to be able to bet/fold in these situations but results probably would dictate that I should. I see your point. I'm a fish. Unfortunately, I don't think we can get away from at least betting. UGH. KK, AA... I [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] them.
