Default KK in MP2

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP1 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, MP1 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, CO calls, MP1 calls.

Flop: (13.33 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
MP1 checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, MP1 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO caps</font>, MP1 calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (12.66 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets</font>, Hero folds, CO calls.

MP1 is the same guy from the AKs post, CO is an utter maniac. TO me the MP1 played this exactly like a draaw, and I didn't think that in this situation and this pot was the kind for him to make a move without having me beat. I wouldn't make this fold if I had the K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], was it a bad fold?

MP1's turn bet sure does put you in an awkward spot. And if he's thinking about maximizing a turned flush, a bet/3-bet plan is a good way to go about it, especially with the maniac last to act.

If he had a hand like A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] instead and decided to bet in the hopes of freezing up the action or scaring you and getting heads-up with the maniac, then that's unfortunate.

It's that thought that would make me tempted to call this first turn bet and see what the action was behind me, but folding might be better.

MP1 really has been playing like he had a draw, and if by some chance he was slowplaying 44 or something and got scared by the third spade, that's not good for you either.

Chances are MP has the flush. So your fold seems fine but at the same time, MP could of had the As and a pair. But between MP1 betting INTO all that aggression and the chance of being beaten by the player behind you, I think the fold was fine.

try not to show anything past your decision, but I see CO raising the turn here a lot anyways, given his maniacitiness. I don't remember the AKs post, but MP1 would have to be a pretty serious LAG in his own right to make this donk without the frush. I think he's looking for 3. He might have AJ or AT with the A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], but not more than 1/7 times, I think. Even when you are best, you probably won't be on the river at least ~20% of the time you get there.

molto bene.
