Smart of Weak?
Party 5/10, loose and good. Two limpers to me, first player (FP) is calling station, second player (SP) is OK player. I raise with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], folded back to limpers who call.
Flop is Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] checked to me, I bet, FP folds, SP calls. Turn is A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SP checks, I check. River is 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] SP bets, I call. What do you think of the turn check? Results to follow. |

I like it. You avoid a check raise. By checking you have induced a bluff on the river. |

Smart?
This is similar to an example I just read in HPFAP. Nice hand. A nice play in a HU situation against this player. |

Re: Smart of Weak?
You guys are too good. I thought it was smart also. I'm either way ahead or way behind on the turn. My opponent had 77 for a flopped full house.
Danz had a very good post on this type of situation in mid-limit posts, here's the url: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...=31&fpart= |
