This is good advice for the o.p.. He should get up early once in a while on a Saturday or a Sunday. Then take a shower, grab a coffee and some breakfast, and sit down to play people who are most likely drunk and tired.

I can find 8 juicy tables at any time of day, and I am in Europe. Off course it's way quicker when it's Friday evening in the US than when it's Tuesday morning, but it's doable. I'll guesstimate that it makes a 10% difference in hourly rate.
