With good table selection, that should go relatively quickly.

Let's assume 60% of hands meet the rake requirements; therefore you would need 1000 hands to clear the bonus. That would be 250 hands on each of 4 tables. If only 40% get you a FPP, which good table selection should help you avoid, then you need 1500 hands or 375 per table.

Does this put it in perspective a little?

Is this the case at .50/1 limit? When I played that game only about 25% of the pots reached $10.

That's probably at the high end: on a good table, during a weekend evening, while the WSOP is on tv. You're probably not going to get 4 of these tables at one time at one limit like that.

(Also, just because the main screen says <27% to the flop, doesn't necessarily mean the pots aren't reaching the requirement.)

So if I understand you correctly this is just under a 10X bonus?

1000 hands estimated / $125 bonus

No. 5x bonus, 600 hands. Tougher to get a raked hand than most though.

At .5/1 I don't think 60% is even remotely possible. Pots need to reach $10 for the hand to count. My guess, 3000+ hands of .5/1 for the $120.

At 1/2 about 30% of the hands played qualify (you need the pot to get to $15, which is 7.5 BB).

.5/1 is much less than 30%
