Default Who folds this overpair?

Who folds this overpair assuming no reads on villain? He pushed immediately after the flop.

This is an instacall that isn't gambling. Also, anything beating QQ here is beating AA/KK as well unless you're worried that they've got AA/KK.

EDIT: You've got HasanHabib at your table dude! Just fold and save your chips for pushing his BB every time, he's folding a lot of hands!

The thing is, there are no legitimate hands out there that you beat except for JJ, and the slim AT or AKs/AQs of spades. Would the preflop raiser push against two players with something else you can beat?

EDIT: I pushed HasanHabib's blinds twice and got RR'd ALL-IN both times.

Ask this instead. Would he push something that beats you? If he has TT or AA or KK he'd presumably bet something for value or try to trap. If I had any of those hands and got all those calls I'd check the flop and hammer after I had made some more money. Here are some hands that I can see him playing like this:

AK-A8
KQ-KT
JJ, 99-77

This kind of play screams "I have a hand that MAY be good and I don't want to get pushed off of it/OH GOD PLEASE FOLD AND GIVE ME THE POT I MISSED THE FLOP!"

You'll be shown hands that crush you here very rarely.

EDIT: RE: HasanHabib, you don't make two $25K final tables without being wily!

I don't know how good this is in a $109, but there's no way I don't raise after only a single bet. 280 already in the pot, all of that is worth picking up. I shove preflop, and I think it's right.

No reads but villain has increased his stack a lot already early on.

This is an easy call. The fact that the spades are there, and that stack sizes preclude a check raise, or moving you off any hand if you bet, makes a preemptive bet with a draw or a vulnerable made hand likely. Maybe he has a set, but the stacks are so shallow, checking a set is the better play IMO, or making a smaller bet. Open pushing here looks weak, gotta call.

What I want to know is why you didn't push preflop.

I also want to know who voted fold! When I voted, it was the first vote for 'call', heh.
