Does anyone else see a problem with the fact that one man trained 5 of the horses?

It just seems to me that there is to much chance for corruption. I think that trainers (and owners) should be limited to one horse pre race.

I only watch the triple crown races. I take it that this sort of thing is common. I still don't like it.

It's not only common, it's a rich part of the history of the sport. Trainers have often entered in more than one horse using one to affect the pace scenario in favor of their "real" horse. Perfectly fair and fine, though fans of Dr. Fager may disagree.

Well, if the real race fans like it, whatever, but I don't like it at all. If someone did that in poker, they would be considered cheaters.

Similar thinking, but I got Bellamy Road over Noble Causeway and Bandini.

I came a half a head away from a small fortune on Giant's Causeway in the Breeder's Cup a couple of year's ago...and it does pain me to support Steinbrenner in even the slightest way, I tried not to. First favorite since Fusaichi I've liked.
