My thoughts for 3 raising the turn: if he's got a deuce I can build a pot to felt him. If he's bluffing then he's giving up on the river either way.

So why not over bet the river to put villain all-in? Villain probably has a strong hand. It's probably a 2 for a boat. Possibly less, like an Ax, but he likes his hand a lot. I think I would overbet the river to make it look like I'm trying to buy it with A-high. A-high might actually call expecting to chop. Did you consider betting more on the river? Is that the most you were confident villain would call without folding?

I see why a massive overbet might be good here on the river.

The river bet, I think was more so for value, but I should have put him AI, he was a flop whore.

Also, a flush draw hit on the turn. If he did pick up the draw you have to repop him on the turn because if the draw misses, you're losing him completely on the river. If anything, you should have made it $25-30 on the turn.

Well played. I liked it.
