Has anyone the Machiavellian Poker Strategy by David Apostolico? I saw it at B&N today...but wanted to get your guys' opinion first....it looks like a brand new book.

I read Apostilico's first one and it was interesting. I'll check out this one within a few weeks.

This may be the worst poker book that I have read. This guy is trying to print books like a recipe. ABC poker and then a quote. Loose poker tie to the quote and then more ABC poker.repeat...repeat

Heh.

Do you feel that way about both his books or just about the Machiavellian one?

I have only browsed the first one and believe that is where his work went into. I think you will also see better reviews of that work in general. Remember the players who are not into the psych. side of poker will not like either of these. Just don't care for cookie cutter writers.
