Step Higher tournaments gone

Now that party got rid of the step higher tournaments, I'm curios, did they refund freerolls, or are they sticking to their policy of screwing over their customers with these issues?

support knows nothing as usual!!
They asked me to get back to them in a couple of days - I asked THEM to get back to ME as a sign of customer service.

Anyway, I dont want to piss them off too much, since I really want my freeroll refunded - and I am sure I will get it in a few days/weeks.

However, i would advice everyone in here to write them and claim a refund, as they are prone to sudden loss of memory about these things....guess they are hoping people might forget they have a freeroll!!

I know in the past they definately refused to refund freerolls to WSOP satellites, my friend eventually got his money back after months of back and forth complaining with people who didn't seem to understand or care about his complaint.

But there is no deadline on the higher steps. They could run indefinitely so people could have a chance to play the freerolls. I wanted to play mine, otherwise I wouldn't have started - but now I have no opportunity, and therefore should get a refund.

You can still play the wsop steps. Once they get shut down I am sure we'll see some refunds there as well. Although people have had plenty of opportunities to play them out...different story with the higher steps - only 4 step5s so far, right?

I sent party an email asking where the SH's went. I mentioned that I needed $110 refunded to my account if they were permanently gone.

The relevant part of the response:
