Re: questions for atheists
1. No
2. No 3. Yes 4. No, but to me having faith in a god follows the same parameters as not having faith. It's only a belief either way. We could probably never really prove it 100% either way, unless the sky slowly parts one day and we get one of these. |

Questions for Christians
1) Is the Flying Spaghetti Monster hovering about in your room right now?
2) Are you sure? 3) Is the creator god Yahweh or Allah? (The Koran says it's Allah, and he wrote the book.) 4) Why don't you just let NotReady handle the questions from now on? |

Re: questions for atheists
I haven't read the other posts before responding to your questions:
[ QUOTE ] 1. Is there a bear in the room you are in now? [/ QUOTE ] No. [ QUOTE ] 2. Is there a flea in the room you are in now? [/ QUOTE ] Not sure. [ QUOTE ] 3. Are you sure? [/ QUOTE ] #1: Yes. #2: No (yes, I'm sure I'm not sure). [ QUOTE ] 4. Is the lack of evidence proof that something is not there? [/ QUOTE ] No, but it's a good place to start. Until there is evidence, or inductive reasons to believe something is there, then it's probably not. |
