Default line check - 2/4 party nl - probably uninteresting

hero dealt qq in cutoff. 400 stack, 400 blinds. both villains have 400ish as well. no reads, just sat down, squeezing in some hands at lunch break.

folded to hero. hero raises to 15. button and sb call.

flop 2 6 J rainbow.

check to hero, who bets 40 into 46 pot. button folds, sb calls.

turn is 5 completing rainbow. sb checks. hero checks.

river is 8, sb bets 75 into 120 pot. hero calls.

just seeing how standard of a line this is. he had aj, i insta called and mhig. am i giving up equity doing this? i have been doing a lot of this with overpairs (often checking AA on drawless flop, then betting turn and river). feel like it keeps me from getting committed with one pair and the weakness i shows helps me pick up bluff dough i normally wouldn't otherwise get. sorry if this is painfully standard. its working well, just trying to figure out if im running well, dodging the outs im giving for free, of if this should be my go to. thanks.

looks good, standard pot control and inducing bluff or value..do it often but not always. A tip donīt write in the subject that it might be uninteresting if you want answers
cheers

I like your line. Assuming you're willing to give up a value bet on the turn (and a free card), I have no problems calling a 1/2 to 1/3 pot bet on river from an OOP villian. A turn check greatly opens the door for a bluff on river. Free monies.

Aside from that Nick, you were right- wicked boring.

Insanely standard on such a dry flop. If he checks the river, you value bet.
